BIMPE VIII

SNAP invites our members and invited guests to the opening reception of BIMPE VIII, February 28th, 2015.

SNAP is pleased to once again host the Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition (BIMPE), a juried exhibition of prints from artists from around the world. This traveling exhibition, which is held every two years, is a showcase for small scale works measuring no more that 15cm x 10cm. It is an exhibition which is open to images made using all printmaking techniques from traditional line etching to contemporary digital processes.

This year, 314 artists from 48 countries entered BIMPE VIII. Each artist submitted up to three prints, and from the 835 submissions, the jury selected 425 prints for the show. The images are as varied and dynamic as the places they traveled from.

SNAP is the final stop for the 425 prints showcased in this traveling exhibition. The prints will be available for sale to the public starting at the opening reception on Saturday February 28th, from 2 to 5pm and continuing until March 28th. This exhibition is an exciting opportunity for individuals to add to their art collection and pick-up prints from established and up & coming print-artists from around the world.
