Monotype Workshop: Figure Drawing
July 20, 2013 to July 21, 2013 (12pm - 5pm)
This 2 day workshop allows artists to make one-of-a-kind printed images working directly from a model onto a flat acrylic plate. Instruction in how to ink plates and use an etching press will be provided. Participants should bring old paintbrushes, drawing materials, old t-shirt to be torn into rags, paper towels, gloves if you want to protect your hands. Non-toxic ink and clean-up materials will be used.

Woodblock Workshop: Drawn from Nature
July 27, 2013 to July 28, 2013 (12pm - 5pm)
Lisa Matthias leads workshop artists through an adventure in printmaking. The first day of this 2 day workshop takes artists outside into Edmonton’s vast river valley to draw from nature and create woodblock plates which will be printed the following day in SNAP’s printshop.

Silkscreen Workshop: Get Graphic
August 17, 2013 to August 18, 2013 (12pm - 5pm)
In this 2 day silkscreen workshop learn how to draw, draft, and design a variety of hand rendered stencils to produce layered multi coloured screen prints. Instructor: TBA

Registration
Registration for a SNAP class or workshop must be completed one week prior to the start date of that class. Registration can occur over the phone or by dropping by SNAP during regular office hours. For further information on SNAP courses/workshops, registration and fees, please contact SNAP.
In order for classes to run, in most cases we need a minimum of 6 participants, so please register early and get your friends involved!
Cancelation Policy
Individuals who have registered for a class or workshop at SNAP but are unable to attend need to inform SNAP a month in advance to receive a full refund. Registrants who cancel with a week or more notice will receive 50% of their registration fee. If individuals cancel a week or less before the start of the class no refund will be granted.
